Just another day at the zoo.
We took Kate's friend Willow D. to the zoo with us and met up with Leia's friends Shea, Tilda, and James. They had more fun eating and climbing on stuff than looking at animals. Oh well, it was a morning outside with good company.

We spent some time playing in water with this girl today. Rylee Turner has a special place in our world and watching her grow is awesome. Today when we left she waved AND said "bye." That was pretty great. I also managed to cuddle her for a nice long while without Leia yanking on my pant leg. There's just something about a roly poly baby that I can't help but give them a squeeze!

We had our first beach day of the summer, finally. Leia clearly has some learning to do about what NOT to do with sand. Aside from some teenager-esque disagreements with the oldest this morning this may turn out to be my favorite day of the week. I know it's only Monday but top: a beach trip, running trade, and oldest at a sleepover. An evening with only 1 kid is amazingly relaxed.

Like mommy, like daughter. We took a walk for coffee and I strapped Leia to my back. Kate followed suit and grabbed her baby carrier and strapped Corky (her favorite stuffed animal) to her back. We both came back with a tasty treat and well rested companions.

And this concludes the catch up version of 365's for the weekend! Whew.
